Beef Steak Filet with Crispy Fries Recipe

For a delicious and filling meal, combine tender and juicy beef fillet steaks with crispy and flavorful fries.

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 25 minutes
  • Total Time: 40 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (218 degrees Celsius).
  • On both sides, season the steaks with salt and black pepper.
  • In a cast iron skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over high heat until hot.
  • Sear the steaks for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Return the skillet to the oven and cook for another 6-8 minutes for medium-rare.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven and set aside for 5 minutes to rest the steaks.
  • Prepare the fries while the steaks rest.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Toss in the cut potatoes to coat evenly.
  • Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  • Bake the fries for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve the steaks alongside the crisp fries.
