Beef Stew with Carrots, Onions and Potatoes Recipe

  • Total Time: 2 hours, 15 minutes

Instructions

  • Warm the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  • Cook until the beef stew meat is browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  • Cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes, after adding the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot.
  • To the pot, add the sliced carrots and cubed potatoes.
  • Add the beef broth, salt, black pepper, and bay leaves to taste.
  • To combine all of the ingredients, stir them together.
  • Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce to a low heat and continue to cook for 1-2 hours, or until the beef and vegetables are tender.
