Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Season the fillet mignon steaks on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  • Cook the steaks in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned.
  • Place the steaks on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
