This Beef and Bean Fusilli Bolognese is a hearty and delicious pasta dish that's ideal for a quick weeknight meal. The combination of ground beef, kidney beans, and flavorful tomatoes results in a rich and satisfying sauce that is simple to make and always a crowd pleaser.

Instructions

  • Fusilli pasta should be cooked according to package directions.
  • Set aside after draining.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
  • Cook until the onion and garlic are softened.
  • Cook until the ground beef is browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  • Combine diced tomatoes, kidney beans, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve the Bolognese sauce over the fusilli pasta that has been cooked.
